APPLIES THE EUROPEAN CREDIT TRANSFER SYSTEM (ECTS)
ADMISSION
The following documents must be submitted to the Department of Education:
- A certified translation of the applicant's diploma for secondary education.
- A document certifying the applicant's eligibility to continue their studies at a university.
- A medical certificate issued no earlier than 30 days before the application procedure and validated by the respective authorities in the applicant's country.
- The diploma and the medical certificate must be legalized and validated in accordance with intergovernmental agreements between the Republic of Bulgaria and the country of issuance. If no such agreement exists, the documents must be legalized, translated, and validated according to the standard procedure for the legalization, translation, and validation of documents and other official papers (apostille).
- Four recent photographs.
- An application form (to be filled out at the Department of Education).
Applicants must submit their documents by the end of July for the respective academic year they are applying for, and from the 1st of September.
Foreign students who do not speak Bulgarian are provided with the opportunity to enroll in an intensive preparatory course at NSA. The duration of the course is one academic year, and the tuition fee is ˆ3,200. After completing the preparatory course, EU citizens can apply for admission under the same conditions as Bulgarian citizens.
Non-EU foreign citizens can study only in paid programs.
